The Roberts family arrived in Vancouver and knowing that the rail line was being built through the Rockies, they purchased 640 acres
at Lilloet BC. This picture would probably have been done in the fall of 1884 or the spring of 1885 with Tomhu using the rail work crew
as subject matter.
